Walker Schulte Schneider

I am a MPhil candidate in American History at the University of Cambridge. This blog was born from my dissertation, which focuses on how the trial of Ameer Ben Ali reflected uncertainties about politics, science, and race in turn-of-the-century New York City. Before Cambridge, I was a History Major at Dartmouth College, and will attend law school next year. Like most people, I am currently sheltering-in-place with my family and I started this blog as a way to share some of my research in real time and shed light on this relatively unknown gem from New York City's history.
